I’m taking a little break from posting photos from the other side of the world and share something I recently took nearby. Even though October is slowly coming to an end, I still managed to pull some autumnal shots, before all the leaves completely fall and decay. We all know hazy and melancholy filled autumn is my favorite season.
This morning, I woke up way too early due to daylight saving time being over and done. (On that note, we do get to sleep an hour longer so that’s a plus.) I had all this time so I decided to drive up to the local forest which I visit from time to time. Usually when the weather conditions are exactly as I want them —hence today’s foggy post.
When I got to the forest, I saw the majority of leaves have already fallen down. However, I did enjoy the sight of bare trees slowly coming out of a dense fog. Everywhere around, you could hear droplets of fresh dew hitting the remaining leaves sitting on the branches and various morning birds singing. Even though the area was alive with subtle sounds of the forest, it was peaceful.
